Todd Fuller is presently completing a residency at Queen Street Studios and was recently photographed in the space for an article in the Inner West Courier. To read the article, click the image on the left to visit the press page.
Fuller's studio is currently full of new sculpture for his upcoming exhibition at Deakin University. The show, set to open 13 April 2011, will feature a series of flocked terracotta men in colourful bunny suits as well as Fuller's whimsical 'Against the Wind' sculptures of men holding upturned umbrellas.
The studio walls are covered with drawings photocopied from a hefty stack of sketchbooks that Fuller carried back from Paris after his residency at the Cite Des Arts. Seeing the rough sketches in the same setting as the finished sculptures reveals Fuller's creative process giving the works a life from inception to completion.
