▶ PETER TILLEY + LYNDAL HARGRAVE WINNERS AT 'IN SITU'

Peter Tilley and Lyndal Hargrave have won the inaugural In Situ 11 Art Prizes as announced at the official opening of In Situ 11. Tilley won the sculpture prize for his work 'Journey through Time' on display at Henry Bucks, 627 Military Road, Mosman and Hargrave won the installation prize for 'Quintet' on display at Von Troska, 631 Military Road, Mosman.

Congratulations to both artists and the works are on display until 11/11/11.

▶ PRIZES: TODD FULLER, FINALIST IN RBS EMERGING ARTIST AWARD + WILL COLES, FINALIST IN UWS SCULPTURE AWARD

Congratulations are in order for represented artists Todd Fuller and Will Coles.

Todd Fuller has been selected as one of twenty-five finalists in the Royal Bank of Scotland Emerging Artist Award with his animated film 'The Doctors.'

Will Coles has been selected as a finalist for the University of Western Sydney 2012 Sculpture Award with his sculpture 'Memorial to the unknown armchair general.'

▶ TANMAYA BINGHAM: WINNER IN MIXED MEDIA WORKS AT 'WIDE OPEN 2'

Congratulations to Tanmaya Bingham whose work, 'Royal Kebab 1' (pictured left) won the mixed media category of the 'Wide Open 2' show at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in NYC. The exhibition, whose jury included Nat Trotman the Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, received close to sixteen hundred entries from which only ten percent were accepted. 'Wide Open 2' is on view until 27 March 2011 at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition.

Bingham's work is concerned with her own "psychological, sociological and genealogical patterns".  Her narrative work is personal and "investigate the mechanics of human dynamics and the neurological processes that create patterns in our daily lives of which we are often not aware."
